The description clearly and honestly states, this works with non grounded plugs. That means three prong equipment will not work.
Most laptops are three prong, so if you mainly buy this to charge your laptop overseas, as I do, it's useless to you

I took this with me to Africa and realized after I got there that I could not use it for my laptop cord, which has a three-pronged plug. The adapter can only fit two-pronged US devices. I used the adapter once or twice for other things, but it just quit working after that.
Waste of money

Please do not buy this product. It is horribly manufacturered, and I was not even able to use it one time. On a recent trip to London, i took this new adaptor, and as soon as i tried to plug it into the UK socket, the spring inside broke so that the prongs no longer stay out. Completely worthless. Didn't even get one use of this product. Please save your money and buy a different one.
One Major Shortfall -- Inlet Missing Third/Ground/Round Prong

Bought a similar device at Target for our traveling to SE Asia. It worked as long as you are plugging in 2-prong cords. However, our netbook power adapter (Acer 10'') uses three-prong style power cord, so we could not charge the netbook for the entire duration of the trip! This was a major letdown, since you could easily be mistaken like us by the rectangular cutout on the inlet side, which does not accommodate the third/round/ground prong at all.

Bought at another web site, but it's the same adapter. Broke on the first try. Actually, it worked for 1 sec. I guess it was the fuse... Buying a new one from another brand.
